Enhanced CSV Upload for Bulk Project Tasks

I’d like to propose a new feature that could significantly improve efficiency in Astravue: CSV-based bulk upload for project tasks.

Why this matters

Currently, tasks must be created manually, which works well for small projects but becomes time-consuming and error-prone when managing large task volumes or onboarding new projects. A CSV upload feature would streamline this process and make Astravue more scalable for teams handling complex workflows.

Proposed Feature

Implement a CSV import function that allows users to upload multiple project tasks at once.

Key capabilities could include:

  • Upload tasks in bulk using a standardized CSV template
  • Map CSV columns to task fields (task name, description, assignee, due date, priority, status, etc.)
  • Pre-upload validation to catch formatting or missing data
  • Preview tasks before final import
  • Clear error reporting for failed rows
  • Support for partial imports (successful rows go through even if some fail)

  • Faster project setup and onboarding
  • Reduced manual work and data entry errors
  • Improved experience for power users managing large projects
  • Stronger positioning of Astravue as a scalable, operations-friendly platform

I strongly support the implementation of a CSV bulk upload feature for project tasks in Astravue.

For teams managing complex projects or onboarding large task lists, manual task creation becomes a real bottleneck. A CSV import option would not only save significant time, but also reduce errors and make Astravue much more scalable for growing teams.

This kind of feature is standard in many mature project management platforms, and bringing it into Astravue would be a big step forward in terms of usability, efficiency, and enterprise readiness.

I believe this would have immediate impact on daily operations and would greatly improve the experience for power users and project managers who rely on speed and accuracy. Fully in favor of prioritizing this enhancement.
