These latest updates are just another step in our ongoing commitment to excellence.

1. Descriptions over 500 characters were causing layout issues in project fields. This has now been handled for a cleaner experience.

2. Fixed an issue where task statuses couldn't be changed when grouped by “Owners.” This is now working as expected.

3. Guests invited to the organization will no longer be automatically added to any spaces or projects, ensuring stricter access control.

4. Identified that preview is not available for Excel attachments. This is under review and will be addressed in an upcoming update.

5. Comment count did not update immediately after a comment was deleted. This issue has been fixed and counts now reflect changes in real-time.

6. The recurring task widget was not reflecting changes instantly. This has now been resolved for real-time updates.

7. A bug preventing recurring issues from being saved has been fixed. The underlying logic has also been corrected to ensure consistent behavior.

8. Time tracking data was not updating immediately on the Home dashboard widget. This has now been fixed for real-time accuracy.

After rolling out two major features last week, this week was all about tuning the engine. Enhancing the experience and fixing bugs to keep things running smoothly.

🔧 Enhancements

Fresh New Onboarding Screen:

The old one felt a bit too... basic. We’ve redesigned the onboarding experience to better reflect our mission and give new users a more engaging start.

Smarter Contact Management Access:

Now, only admins (Account Admin, Admin, and Space Admin) can view contact management to keep things clean and secure.

Guest Users, Handled Automatically:

Invited guests will now be automatically added to contact management. No extra steps needed.

🛠️ Fixes

• Preview was not working for documents and certain file types.
• Missing counts for chats and dependent tasks in Task Details.
• Timelog dashboard filters weren’t appearing.
• Real-time updates were inconsistent for tasks and user invites(more coming soon!).
• Couldn’t edit admin name when duplicating a task.
• Project filters not appearing in some views.
• Contact saving delays in rare cases

Fixed Lateby Days Calculation:

The calculation for Lateby Days (tasks completed after the due date) was off—this is now corrected and accurate.

Resolved Bulk Deletion Bug:

An issue that was causing trouble when deleting tasks in bulk from the list view has been squashed. Delete away with confidence!

UI Enhancement for Mentions & Notifications:

We’ve fine-tuned the margins and padding in mention and notification messages for a cleaner, more visually pleasant experience.

This release focuses exclusively on bug fixes and improvements to enhance the overall user experience within Astravue. Below are the key updates:

- Resolved an issue where clicking on New Task would unintentionally carry over the subject and details from the currently viewed task.

- The dropdown menu now auto-closes as soon as a value is selected, improving usability and workflow efficiency.

- Previously, "Late" or "Due by" indicators displayed time only in months, which was often unclear. This has been updated to show both months and days for better clarity.

- Adjusted the numerical values displayed in widgets to reflect accurate data sizes and metrics.

-Clicking on high-level metrics in most widgets now opens a detailed tabular view of related tasks and projects. (Note: This improvement is still pending for Time Log widgets.)

Click on a value or graph in your widgets, and—bam!—a new window opens with a detailed task view. We’re still rolling this out across all widgets, so stay tuned for more improvements.
